Eating in PDX: Spring Break Edition

Lunchin’ on crepes from C’est Si Bon at the Portland State University Farmer’s Market.
Stuffed with chicken salad and herbs…obviously hunger took precedence over photographing the innards
Fro-yo erry single day…The Sara way: Every single flavour with mango, strawbeezies, oreo crumble bits, and reese’s
Sipping on Stumptown Macchiatos at Barista while furiously typing away a Case Study on corruption and bureaucracy in India
Wasabi dunking loads of cheap, legit, super fresh sushi at Mio’s on 23rd

Heading to Pyro Pizza cart at Hawthorne and 12th for the best type of vegetarian meal: (From above, Margherita with fresh pulled mozzarella, olive oil, basil, San Marzano tomato sauce, epic organic whole wheat crust; Caramelized onion pie with gorgonzola, parmigiano reggiano, and pistachios.) Mouthgasm.
Meandering around House of Vintage and trying on the most ridiculous outfit possible (Yup…that is me under all that poncho action…and my construction worker sidekick, Car-Mats)

Heading to OHSU Hospital to take the tram down to the waterfront and get a stunning 360 of Portland

Using the morning silence to whip up some blackberry pancakes with a side of Vogue…

And perhaps taking the time to cook the most legit salad of all time: Organic spinach, heirloom cherry tomatoes, balsamic rosemary grilled chicken, garlic, shiitake mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, artichokes, roasted aubergine, roasted zucchini, fresh thyme, chilli flakes, spicy hummus, balsamic vinegar, chilli pepper sauce, & parmigiano reggiano
Sipping on ultra-sophisticated/complicated glossary-terminologied cocktails at Teardrop in the Pearl
And of course eating half an almond crusted chicken with balsamic reduction and root veggies while doing so…

I LOVE YOUR OUTFIT! please wear a poncho everyday…you will make so many friends
Merci beaucoup Clare…I feel like I’d fit in better at LC with my poncho/sombrero/romper/leopard scarf/chanel sunglasses ensemble. le sex fo sho.
